Policies and Information

Submitting an order at http://www.zephyrcove.com/ does not guarantee a reservation. A reservation is guaranteed when final authorization of your credit card is processed. The credit card you provide will be charged the full amount of the required deposit after availability is confirmed. By giving your credit card for confirmation you are agreeing to pay the deposit in full and adhere to the change and cancellation policy.

If you have booked a Promotional Rate or Package, different deposit, cancel, and change policies may apply. Please call 1-800-23-TAHOE for more information.

Zephyr Cove Resort Lodging Policies

Payment Policy: Deposit of one night’s stay plus tax is due at the time of booking. Remaining balance and incurred incidentals must be paid upon check-out.
Cancellation Policy: Lodging reservation cancel policies are rate specific and can be viewed by clicking on the rate name when availability returns. Cancellations outside of the cancel policy will receive a refund of the deposit less a $20 USD cancel fee. Cancelling within the cancel policy will result in a full forfeit of the deposit.

Check In: Check in is at 3:00 pm. Check in across the street from the Lodge at the RV Park Front Desk (summer) or Main Lodge (winter). If arriving after 10:00 pm, please call us directly to make special arrangements.  Front Desk is NOT open 24 hours.
Check Out: Check out is by 11:00 am.
Pet Policy: Pets are permitted in cabins only for a fee of $15.00 per night per pet, plus tax.  Pets are limited to certain areas of the beach.

RV & Camping Policies - Zephyr Cove Resort Lodging

Payment Policy: Deposit of one night’s stay plus tax is due at the time of booking.  Remaining balance and incurred incidentals must be paid upon check-out.  Reservations for Premium RV Sites require full prepayment.
Cancellation Policy: Reservation cancel policies are rate specific and can be viewed by clicking on the rate name when availability returns. Cancelling outside of the cancel policy will result in a $20 USD cancellation fee.  Cancelling within 72 hours of arrival will forfeit the deposit paid.  Reservations for Premium RV sites are nonrefundable.
Check In:
Check in is at 1:00 pm. Check in across the street from the Lodge at the RV Park Front Desk (summer) or Main Lodge (winter). When the RV Park front desk is closed, a list of reserved spaces will be posted on the door. The guest may park in their assigned space and then register in the morning.  Front Desk is NOT open 24 hours.
Check Out: Check out is by 11:00 am.
Pet Policy: Pets are permitted free of charge at the campground and must be on a leash at all times. Pets must never be left tied up alone outside. Pets are limited to certain areas of the beach.

Lake Tahoe Cruises - M.S. Dixie II and Tahoe Queen Policies

Payment Policy: Full payment is required at time of booking. Credit card will be charged for each seat reserved at time of booking.
Cancellation Policy: Cruise reservations must be canceled more than 24 hours prior to cruise departure time to avoid forfeiture of full payment. All specialty cruises have a 48-hour cancel policy.
Check In: Guests will check in at the ticket booth located next to the pier. We request that guests check in at least 30 minutes prior to cruise departure time. Please note that the MS Dixie II departs from Zephyr Cove Marina (Nevada) and the Tahoe Queen departs from Ski Run Marina (California).
Pet Policy: Pets are NOT permitted on any Lake Tahoe Cruise with the exception of working service animals.
Miscellaneous: Reservations are recommended for all cruises. Personal Picnics are not permitted on board. Photos taken upon boarding will be available for purchase at the end of the cruise.  Special pricing for children 11 and under is available on most cruises. Smoking is not permitted on either boat.

Lake Tahoe Snowmobile Tour Policies

Payment Policy:
Full payment is required at time of booking. Credit card will be charged for each machine reserved at time of booking.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be made more than 2 hours prior to tour departure to avoid cancellation fees. Private tours must cancel more than 24 hours prior to tour departure to avoid cancellation fees.
Check In: Guests will need to arrive at the Zephyr Cove Lodge (760 Highway 50, Zephyr Cove) 30 – 45 minutes prior to their tour time. If a guest is not checked in by 15 minutes prior to their tour time, their spot could be sold to someone else and we will re-book the guest on the next available tour. Drivers between the ages of 16 and 18 will need to bring a valid photo ID to be presented at the desk.  Acceptable forms of ID are: Driver’s License or Passport.  
Miscellaneous: Things to Bring: Guests should wear a waterproof pair of boots that go above their ankle.  No Tennis Shoes will be allowed on the mountain. Camera, Bottle of Water, Sunglasses, Sunscreen.
